After the huge success of our 1st Home Ed Families Camp in Beechworth NE Victoria, we are hosting another!

Activities & Young Families Hub
Due to the popularity of the Historic Tours there is a link for families to book their own tours this year.
INFO HERE
Plus we will be having parents/Kids Hosting activities at camp and the Young Families Hub!
Things like: Drawing, Colouring In, Jewelry Making, Weaving, Board Games, Nature Craft, Glow Stick Party with Music! and much more. All Ages welcome.
Young Families Hub with be located near "The Creek" - this space will offer activities.
We encourage families with younger kids to book nearby and away from the Teen Hub as the teens will be loud and Boisterous.
Activities & Teen Hub
As there is so many teens that attend and they like to have their own space, we are creating a Safe Teen Hub just for the teens.
This will be near site 90 and we encourage families with Teens to Book site close to this if possible.
This will be set up with tables and lighting so the Teens can play cards, listen to music and enjoy their camp experience in a safe and social environment.
There will also be Teen Specific Activities - think, Ghost Tours, Escape Rooms, Book Appreciation, Swimming etc.
Families Meet n Greet - Monday 5pm - 6pm @ Young families Hub
- Tuesday 8am - 9am @ Young Families Hub (Bring coffee!)
Hang out at the hub and say hello to other families, make others feel welcome and you will feel welcome!
Camping can be stressful, especially that 1st day/night. So lets support each other, say hello, ask questions and share stories.
We learn so much as humans by sharing stories and playing, so bring a cuppa, beverage of choice, games and snacks.
Young families hub will not be supervised and all parents must supervise their children and please respect the families camping close by.
Annmarie (organiser) will be present on Monday evening to meet folks, & as she has teens she will also be at the teen meet n greet, she may not be present Tuesday morning at the Young families Hub, but please use that space to meet others and share activities.
Teen Meet n Greet - Monday 7pm - 8pm @ Teen Hub, bring a deck of cards, your favourite book, your latest creation or board game.
The teen hub will not be supervised, except in the evening by parents in camps nearby.
Please chat to your teen about respect, consent and inclusion and feel free to hang with your teen at the teen hub.
It is an Inclusive safe space.
Ideally it will not be for younger siblings as teens need a safe space to be, well, Teens - please understand that teens may ask younger children to move away as this spot is not for babysitting.
Home School Graduates Panel sessions!
We have invited some fabulous Home School Graduates to come along on Tues 14th Oct to chat and answer questions about " What next? Options after Home Schooling".
We are Hoping to Offer 2 Sessions.
One Session at the Teen Hub so our teens can ask questions of the graduates.
Another Session at ther Young Families Hub for Parents to ask questions and meet HS graduates!

Meet Natasha - Home School Mum & Your Guide
Natasha Stafford is a fully qualified designer and teacher of permaculture, based in Albury. She holds two Permaculture Design Certificates. Each certificate was given by a distinctly different teacher, giving Natasha a wider perspective on the practice.
Natasha has been mesmerised by the natural world from a young age leading her to follow the path of wholistic teaching and design. She has gained many skills over the course of twenty years, including creating numerous edible gardens in successive properties and homeschooling her six children.

Make and Take Bag / Foraging Belt using Original design by Shennae, Home School Mum and Business Owner.
Using only 100% wool felt, sit, cut and learn the basics so you can work on your creation throughout the Camp week!
Suitable for ages 7 and up.
There will be a cost for equipment.

Bella Bookworm is Back!

Arabella has delivered programs for councils, festivals, and schools, including the Woodford Folk Festival and many more, earning a reputation as a vibrant and skilled facilitator who inspires the next generation of young people."

Based on a beloved story, this fun and interactive session is designed to show that if you can move, you can dance.
Children aged 5 and up will explore a variety of dance styles, from Waltzing to to energetic Tango, all while learning about rhythm, expression, and creativity. With an focus on different dance traditions and an empowering message of self-confidence, this workshop is the perfect blend of learning and fun.
