Activities

Due to the popularity of the Historic Tours and Honey School we hope to offer these again in Oct 2025.
Plus we will be having parents/Kids Hosting activities at camp and the Young Families Hub!

Things like: Drawing, Colouring In, Jewelry Making, Weaving, Board Games, Nature Craft, Glow Stick Party with Music! and much more. All Ages welcome.

Young Families Hub with be located near "The Creek" - this space will offer activities.
We encourage families with younger kids to book nearby and away from the Teen Hub as the teens will be loud and Boisterous.

Mayday Hills

Mayday Hills is a decommissioned 'Lunatic Asylum' located at the top of Albert Rd in Beechworth and was one of the largest psychiatric hospitals in Victoria.

Beechworth Honey Bee School

Discover the wonderful world of bees! Join us for bee-related learning experiences tailored to students of all ages, interests, and abilities.

Historic Precinct

The Beechworth Historic Precinct consists of the Burke Museum, Beechworth Courthouse, Telegraph Station, Powder Magazine and Sub-Treasury Building. Each building has a story to tell, with its contents adding layer upon layer of fascinating detail on subjects such as Ned Kelly, the Gold Rush, the town itself and the colourful people who called it home.

Chinese Heritage

The town had a permanent Chinese camp, temple, shops and burial ground with the distinctive burning towers which can still be seen today at the Beechworth Cemetery where some 2000 Chinese were buried. The Burning Towers at the Beechworth Cemetery were built in 1857, and were used by relatives and friends for burning paper money in memory of the dead.

Teen Hub & Activities

As there is so many teens that attend and they like to have their own space, we are creating a Safe Teen Hub just for the teens.
This will be near site 90 and we encourage families with Teens to Book site close to this if possible.

This will be set uo with tables and lighting so the Teens can play card, listen to music and enjoy their camp experience in a safe and social environment.

There will also be Teen Specific Activities - think, Ghost Tours, Escape Rooms, Book Appreciation, Swimming etc.
